Vick can't stand the hot weather, so he decides to venture deeper into the forest to get some cool air. Coincidently, Bramble is woken up by Briar, as it's his turn to go find food. Bramble sees a mountain deep in the forest and it seems cool there. He decides to go and have a nap in the quiet and cool mountain area. However, he bumps into Vick and the two fall in a valley. At first, they are angry with each other and fight against one another for precious water. But later Vick injures his knee and Bramble tries to ease his pain with some herbs. The two make up and try to find a way out of the valley together. Finally, Briar and the other animals find them and rescue them.
