After cutting down a truckload of trees, Logger Vick is about to take the wood to his boss. But he can't start his truck. It seems his truck won't start unless there is some water to cool off the engine. Logger Vick tries many ways to get water but fails because of Briar and Bramble's impedance. Finally he buys a bottle of water from the market. But soon the bears rush up to take it away. A fight for water begins. Briar gets sunstroke during the fight. Logger Vick thinks it over, and decides to give the water to Briar to save his life. Vick gets home. He opens the refrigerator, and there is no food inside. When he's worried about how to fill his belly, the bears sneak in front of his house and leave much food for him.
