Vick knocks down a bird's nest when he is logging, and he doesn't know about it. The mama bird is very angry and attacks Vick. However, Vick manages to run off. Bramble picks up the bird's egg when he is looking for food. He asks Hoo Hoo to help hatch the egg but Hoo Hoo refuses. Surprisingly, the egg cracks and a little bird comes out. Bramble then persuades Briar to adopt the little bird. The angry mama bird launches attacks on Vick again and follows him to his home. Bramble and the little bird happen to see this. Bramble takes the little bird to her mama. At last, the mama bird is reunited with her baby. Vick learns that it was because of him that mama bird and her baby got separated and he feels guilty. He builds a home for the birds together with Bramble.
