Tiki decides to hold a summer forest party and all the animals are preparing for it excitedly. Logger Vick gets a call from Boss Lee telling him to cut a 100-year-old sophora japonica tree. When Vick is out looking for the tree his boss wants, he accidentally walks to the place where the party is to be thrown and finds a sophora japonica tree around there. He damages the animals' game props stealthily. Then he pretends to be interested in the party and asks for permission to join in the party. As the animals are having fun, Vick sits under a tree and starts to think about how to lure the animals away. Just then, Briar and Bramble find him and think he must feel a bit lonely. They tell Vick that they will be best buddies provided that he stops cutting down trees. Touched by the bear brothers, Vick decides to abort his plan and plays with them together. To prevent the bears being injured by those rigged props, Vick jumps into the traps set up by himself. Although he doesn't get the tree for his boss, he gains friendship.
