The hot weather makes Logger Vick so violent-tempered that he contradicts his boss, and starts to act weirdly. He is considered to be suffering from stress induced mania. He can't afford the treatment, so he goes to the bears for help. Briar says Vick gets sick because of too much work pressure. They are forbidden to say a word about the boss, and they have to get rid of things in Vick's house that may remind him of his boss. But Vick's condition gets worse. The bears have lost control of him. When they are feeling hopeless, the boss calls and says that Logger Vick can have a short vacation. Hearing the good news, Vick becomes peaceful and falls asleep.
