Vick has hypoglycemia caused by decreased appetite in summer. He learns from TV that sugarcane juice can help with his illness. Thus Vick comes up with a plan to get the bears as well as Herbert to help him plant sugarcanes. However, when the sugarcanes are ripe, Vick is reluctant to share with the animals. The animals leave him angrily. One night there is a thunderstorm and Vick hurries to save the sugarcanes. However, the wind is too strong and Vick's house is destroyed. Vick is buried under the ruins of his house and calls for help. Luckily, the bears hear him and save him. Vick is touched and decide to share the sugarcanes with the animals. Finally the animals help Vick to rebuild his home.
